Special Olympics A Great Day For All

Cynthia Mulligan reports that the Special Olympics games that took place at Lakewood High were fun and inspirational as “special” young athletes proved their mettle by competing with the determination of world-class Olympians.

Our club provided 28 volunteers, all told (including the Key Club kids and family members). Special thanks go to Pat Bisciotti for chairing the event, as well as Bill & (daughter) Eleanor Holloway, Jane Baldwin and Dave Millard for showing up at 7:30 am to help with parking.  Thank you, Kiwanis volunteers! Your big hearts make a difference wherever you lend a hand.
