Through the Fischer Carr Scholarship Fund, a total of $125,000 was donated to the Pinellas Education Foundation to purchase 20 Take Stock in Children college scholarships for eligible students in Pinellas County.
-
Since 2004, a total of $1,500,000 has been donated to provide 454 students a college education.
-
On going yearly, we provide four-year scholarships to high school seniors. We gave a combined total of $36,000 for scholarships through the Al Muter and Ron Holehouse Scholarship Funds, supporting local students.
-
We provided twenty community grants of $1,000 each to local nonprofit organizations focused on the needs of children.
-
Approximately 100 foster children received Christmas gifts purchased by members, an annual tradition of the club.
-
Members volunteered their service to Bluesfest, which benefits PARC, and Kind Mouse, a food pantry that serves families in transition, as well as served as Salvation Army bell ringers, another annual tradition.
